Robina Braves Baseball Club, in partnership with Baseball Queensland, is excited to announce the return of Baseball5 to the Gold Coast. Robina Braves organised the first Australian community competition for Baseball5 in 2021 and we’re excited to welcome the return of the format thanks to support from Baseball Queensland’s new Baseball5 Coordinator.
Baseball5 Carnival
Join us this January for our Baseball5 Carnival Come and Try day!
What is Baseball5?
Baseball5 is a new 5 vs 5 game mode that emerged in South America. The format has rapidly gained traction globally and now boasts an impressive set of international tournaments including the Youth Olympics and it’s very own Baseball5 World Cup events.
How can you get involved?
Players are invited to come along and jump in for a game or two! We’ll have a number of representatives on-site to answer any questions about the game and support you in learning this fast-paced equipment-free version of Baseball.
This Carnival represents a major Come and Try opportunity for our very own competition, which will align with Term 1 of the 2025 Queensland School year.
If you’d like to officiate the game, reach out to joe@baseballqld.asn.au to understand your next steps and see how you can get involved with the upcoming competition!
Want a head start? Head over to ‘Canopi’ and complete the Baseball5 Level A course.
